How Do You Determine if a External Usb Hardisk Is a 2.0 Usb Drive?
It can take up to a half hour to copy 1 gig. On the case it states 2.5″ Sata USB 2.0 certified
Also, when I copy data to it, a message appears ” Cannot read from source file or disk”.
I put another hard disk in it, but still same problem.

are you doing that in the same PC?
well, it’s your PC USB port problem.. install a driver for your port or maybe your usb port is broken already
that’s not hard disk casing fault
You will know if your external usb hardisk is really a2gig by viewing its property. You will see there its capacity.
