I would like to know were everybody is buying their usb disk drive. So many to choose from that I thought I would ask. Your help is really appreciated.

It  can take up to a half hour to copy 1 gig. On the case it states 2.5″ Sata USB 2.0 certified

Also, when I copy data to it, a message appears ” Cannot read from source file or disk”.

I put another hard disk in it, but still same problem.

When I turn it on, it makes a beeping noise and the LED flashes continuously. This is my back-up drive but it holds a lot of files which I can’t replace. Help is appreciated- thanks!!

I have a family member about to embed with the Marines in Iraq for a year. She wants to back up her laptop’s data to an external USB drive. Does anyone know specifically of a USB drive enclosure designed to handle the desert sand?

geeks.pirillo.com – http – I don’t think that I’ve heard heard anyone say “dang… I have too much capacity on my Flash drive”. You can never have too much space in my opinion. About a year ago I bought a 2GB Flash drive. What’s the highest capacity USB drive you have owned? chris.pirillo.com
